- Georgia requires anyone born on or after January 1, 1998 to complete an approved boater education course before operating a motorized boat or jet ski. Ask the rental company what proof they need.
- Ask how fuel is charged. Most rentals bill fuel used on top of the rate.
- Book holiday weekends weeks ahead. Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day sell out.
